I hope that Smith gets the ban rescinded, but like most on here do not think he will. Seems to me that the Millers and Wycombe seem to get terrible decisions against them more than others. Can't think for the life of me why that would be
Despite having 5 outfield players on the subs bench and playing with 10 men for a quarter of the game the Millers were excellent in their formation and grit when down to 10. Moore put 2 strikers who have previously gone for about 17million on to win the game. 500k Freddie, who last week looked like a pub player with his air swing at the ball scored a £5million player goal that that may help get the £7 million in the Championship next season. We can only hope.
Just a thought but two "sliding doors" moments contributed to the win. What if Victor, who will be a Millers legend if he carries on like this, had not been down injured for two minutes? 6 minutes would have been 4. And what if Captain Crooks had just lumped the ball upfield instead of playing the pass of the night to Freddy. Would the ref have blown? All ifs and buts I know, but it does demonstrate the bravery and sheer will to win of the Millers. Oh and thanks Izzy. Once a Miller always a Miller![]()
