Whoever it is is going to need good contacts (and I don't mean lenses)

We need a LOT of new players.

Shaun Maloney would be interesting, but he’s maybe too small to be a manager.

Scott Booth and Eoin Jess dream team perhaps.

Scott Gemmil might be interesting too given his contacts and knowledge of younger players.

Well if he’s German then he’s going to have to come to Rosemount for his specs.

The Cowley brothers or Chris Coleman are good shouts but probably too ambitious for us .

Said for a while that I would like Toni Kombouare or Billy Reid. I see that Toni has become Nantes new manager recently, so he's probably nae an option now. Reid did well at Accies before becoming Graham Potters assistant in Sweden and at Brighton. From what I have seen they play good football and all the teams that Reid has been involved in appear to want to promote youth/young players.

I also like the idea of appointing a young coach with fresh ideas e.g. Fletcher, Maloney but not sure how likely that is either given their current roles. Wonder if the lad Beale could be prized away from the huns?! He is supposedly the brains behind their success...

Another name that hasn't been mentioned would be Gus Poyet. Quite like the cut of his jib when I have seen him on telly.

I see Marescas odds have dropped from 20/1 to 6/1 to make him second favourite to be our manager.
