Thread: Is Wilder going / gone

Very much like us in many ways. A popular manager in the job, almost legend status, unfashionable club and owners with strict wage structures and underweight transfer money available.

Sacking is the easy part, getting a suitable replacement is much harder. I reckon reception at Bramall Lane will be having a revolving door fitted.

It did not take long for Wilder's side of the story to start come out in the media

Wilder unhappy wanted to walk in January, LMA been trying to smooth things over, all came to a head last week when Wilder gave his terms for staying for next season.
Loads to come out over the next month or so it will not be pretty.
Chancer at S6 will be happy takes him out away from the spotlight for a while
Yes they were saying the same on the Premiership coverage over here on NBC last weekend and didn't expect him to make it to the end of this week. I was surprised there was nothing posted on MM earlier.

Feel sorry for him,he`s obviously made some mistakes this season, but this the bloke who got them to 9th last season,he hasn`t become w*nk overnight.
What the club has shown is what they have shown in the past, they have no real ambition, and want to do everything on the cheap.
I`m sure Wilder won`t be out of work for long.

If they don't want to splash cash anymore, the next choice will be interesting - hard to see the current malcontent evaporating anytime soon. Hope they don't, but the conditions are emerging for them to fall and keep falling. Sure the Blinkered British Corporativistas will put their own spin on the situation.....

Perhaps fan power has meant they have had a rethink. Star poll saying 95% of fans behind wilder even warne would be pushed to get 60% in similar circumstances
