I thought Cormack spoke well. I'm willing to take him at his word, and it's great to see that he doesn't lack ambition and firmly believes we should be aiming higher, despite what the usual suspects might be saying.
I thought Sir Alex's comment about wanting a manager who is not scared to go to Glasgow and aim to beat them (or something along those lines) was telling.
Levein is the reason Scottish football can't have anything nice or break from the norm because he'd be out of a job and so would all his dinosaur mates.
If Glass was going to be the new manager, surely he would have been appointed by now.
Totally agree. I will praise the chairman where I think it is due...if he does employ a manager with the mindset to really go to win in Glasgow then it’s sounding better than some previous efforts.
If Aberdeen are to progress we need to show the Scottish football mafia that we are genuinely not here to make up the numbers. Who we employ as manager and who the manager brings in as players will be telling. I hope whoever they are they have the belief and ability to roll up the sleeves and show Scottish football we are winners.
I’m not sure if the delay is to give the impression of considering all options, or maybe there are genuine reasons, but I suspect Glass has always been the plan. I’ll be surprised if it’s not him.
