Yep I’m Sure that will reassure people.

Get more cameras up and maned, I never understand why some are against being watched on streets, if your not up to no good them what’s the problem?

    Better and brighter street lighting.
Police back on the beat in problem areas.
20 years without parole for ***ual assault Chemical castration for rape.
    Death penalty for murder one.
Will that sort a few of the problems out?

Where I live the estate is now about 15 or so years old and it now has darker streets than when the houses were first built.

    Why?

Because the usual suspects were moaning about light pollution and energy consumption, so the council changed all of the lights to dimmer energy saving ones.

Good idea you may think, but no because occupiers immediately started to put up security lights

And rent a mob have now moved on to another “cause”

Avondalemiller, you'll never stop the 'loony gang' who just want to be heard. Like you say, if you've nowt to hide why kick off against it. They just need to be heard bless em. I now await our certain posters who will pick up on this.

I've always said our totally outdated legal system needs a massive overall that will, (but should have been dealt with 20 years ago), have to go three readings and passes etc before owt is moved forward. We use totally out of touch and date measures in sentencing. Only when the time fits the crime that befits today's gravity in serious crimes, will society feel more assured.

Don't attack a statue it carries up to a 10 year sentence, meanwhile if anyone attacks a young lady in a serious violent way they may get up to a 5 year sentence!

Our legal system’s number one priority is to make a lot of money for those within it.

.....and that's why they won't want to modernise it.
