36 positive cases in dundee after a students party on 14th of march 34 of them students at dundee uni.F..king brilliant people of dundee do all they can not seeing family and friends and these self entitled ba...rds try to f..k it up for everyone. Really cant see how we are going to get out of this.I f it was not students wee nic would be going crazy but she was a student once you know poor wee darlings.Should all be done with breaking covid rules and thrown out of uni.

Someone mentioned a couple of days ago that there had been an outbreak at student halls in St Andrews with 11 infections and over 40 isolating (I think). Is this the one you're on about or is there a second one?

The outbreak is across quite a few halls i believe, and down to one party. Add to that the similar outbreak in Dundee, the plant in Coupar Angus, and a hospital ward in Fife.

Thinking the majority have so much of their lives ahead of them, i just wish they could find it within themselves to behave in the short term, so we can all get our lives back, now that its not all that far away!

Even i agree that if the Huns are getting condemned from the Scottish government its only fair these idiots in halls of residence are tarred with the same brush.

To be fair to Jason Leitch today he did say some people are unlucky to contract the virus but others have brought it on their selves,he was being asked about students when he spoke.

Another difference here is between gathering indoors for their parties, and celebrating in open spaces.

Ive always questioned why we are restricted in what we do in open spaces, and im just not seeing a seriously detrimental effect from the Zombie gatherings.
