Don't know why anybody expected anything different on the park yesterday, as Sheerin and Robson have a been just as guilty as McHunnis and Doc and have been a big part of the problem.
Fkn huge job ahead for the new manager that comes in, on current form last 12 games or so we should deservedly be in a relegation dog fight, fkn pitiful.

I saw some differences from the start . Sheerin picked a kid at Right Back. And then brought on a 17 yr old when game was over , for a little experience. Normal stuff really, but not what Deek did.

He also picked a 4 at the back. Sort of. To allow the "wingers " t o play up front. And picked a 3 man midfied . In the first half Dean Campbell looked like a reall proper attacking midfielder ?

All these, at this time of the season , are tiny forward steps. But they are the things Deek should have enacted after we lost Watkins. And before he threw Cosgrove back in ?

I also suspect that Sheerin would have kept Anderson in January , and he would have got a lot more game time, in a 4 3 3 system. ( Which I think was what Sheerin played ?? !! )

I suspect it`s a bit too late for anything much to effectively change for the good this season. ?

But we all probably agree, some more of youngsters should have been brought through a bittie more already.

Big Big problem for a new manager. Depends who he knows he could sign. Depends how much he can rely on the judgement of Sheerin/Robson/Simpson.

Lot of " youngsters " are now 20 something. And could have been brought further on. The 4 or 5 who were out on loan should be readfy for first team games by now. And I suspect Sheerin will ( imstructed ? ) to play them from now on, to assess for next season. ?

Although , without a new manager in place. It`s all very uncertain .

Might be being a bit unfair to Sheerin and Robson but I doubt they are a couple of trailblazers. More like moulds of the usual suspects.

After watching the highlights again good lord we really need to get better defenders than we have.

If a 34 year old Andy Considine is playing in defence next season we will be in a relegation battle.

After 554 games for the club he still manages to get dragged out of position like he has just had a handful of first team games.

    ANDREW CONSIDINE...

“I thought we played well. The work we’ve done in the last two weeks on the pressing game and playing through the thirds, I felt we brought that into the game. I felt we all bought into it, I thought we were calm on the ball, so in that sense, it was really positive.

“Because of that, losing the game is a tough one to take, especially having seen Hibs’ result, because we got into some great positions, we got some good balls into the box but we couldn’t get the finishing touch, nothing was falling for us.

“Pulling Hibs back is going to be very hard now. We still have to play them at Pittodrie, so that’s a chance to claw back some points there, but I feel we need to win pretty much every game if we are going to catch them. It’s a big ask but we all believe we can still do it. We’re all angry in the dressing room that we couldn’t find the back of the net but there was some good football played and we have to try and bring that to every game if we are to start scoring goals.

He thought we played well. No wonder we are where we are with muppets like this at the club. Luck has nothing to do with it, you create your own chances and you must take them. Too many players just accept results against us now. Big clear out drastically needed.
