Was it the Dees and Queens Park that were called the ancient firm just prior to the Great War in 1914?.

Think Jamie Robson deserves a lot of credit for how he is adapting to his first season in the top flight, let's remember he came through during a bad period for us in a position we had got used to having very good players in (Kalvenes, Dixon, Douglas, Robertson, Townsend) yet as a young player he has had his moments but generally shown a good attitude to improve and keep his place over a few turbulent years

In fact not long turned 23 with lots of years ahead to improve more at this level he has already accumulated 160 appearances for us at his age (the most in the squad), excellent really, only 74 players in our history have played more games for us, we absolutely should be looking to kero him long term, imo

Aberdeen have treated trips to dundee as a joke in our absence as they have no rivalry with the fun and just turn up and win at will over the road with 7 wins in a row and 18 goals scored when we were away

Now we are back to fill that void for the sheepies, and remind them they won't be getting it so easy any longer, good to get the better of the head to head first year back

Only reason he's had so many appearances is that he's had no one pushing his position

He has had at times not so much recently since callum booth left but he has been a strong performer last two seasons

It's guys like him you want in a team, that come through our system and is a mainstay for years making lots of appearances

Nothing to say he can't be a Lewis Stevenson at hibs, one club man (if he gets a couple cups like him even better) , rare these days, still plenty time to go but I'm a fan overall, has knuckled down despite having his critics

I Like Smith on the right side too

He's f*cking rubbish mate, come on. 160 appearances and he's still nowhere near the level he should be. He's been terrible this season. Was terrible last season other than a wee purple patch of 8 games or so. Positionally he's poor. He can't head the ball, and his delivery is tragic. Left back should be an area we're prioritising this summer.

Honestly baffled by Shedkas comment. Robson is a large part of why we've been dire for years.
