Police need to be given the power to get stuck in, tear gas and a water cannon wouldn't go miss.

Just watched the video. People attacking the police and then when the police try to do their job and protect themselves the crowd are saying "look at this" What a stinking attitude! Imagine this country without Police. They would all be crying for help within hours.

It appears this is nowt to do with anti lockdown but by Far left antifa rioters who attacked the police station. Lots of flyers were issued before the riot were apparently shared with Bristols BLM & Extinction Rebellion groups. These groups oppose the new police act which stops them from glueing themselves to lampposts

You could be so right, and not just in this country. No pubs, shops, cafes , restaurants and sporting events to attend, a lot with energy and time on their hands will be looking for something to do, especially with longer and warmer days ahead. I would hate to be a policeman at this point in time, knowing that the demonstrating public pays my salary, expenses and contributes to my pension whilst at the same time, I would be expected to uphold laws which i may not agree with myself. We're in a mess, and being led by the most inexperienced set of ministers seen in the last 50 years.

I Bet at least 80% of the protesters have never paid tax and are at the Butlins Uni of Art or some other worthless degree.

I can't find the words to describe my disgust at those horrific scenes in Bristol. I despair of certain sections of our community. If this continues I can see the government's only option would be to bring in the military. It is something that I wouldn't want to see but it could prove to be a necessity.
