I wouldn’t be slating anybody if they at least were skeptical of their own beliefs or exploring/questioning what is put in front of them. For example, those saying that they’re glad they voted Brexit and seeing exports and imports suffering and the answer being ‘oh we can trade with the rest of the world’ logic, is where there appears to be a lack of education or understanding of trade. This trade matter has been echoed by other posters here not just myself. Some acknowledgment (not needing to agree with me) of these problems would go a long way.

The problem is that when we first joined the Common Market it was a trading association between seven western European countries. We were taken in, we didn't vote, we only voted to remain. The EU is now a different animal of twenty six countries, basically a federal state. I, personally, don't see how this is workable when every single country has to agree especially with such diverse cultures. Yes, I will admit that trade is the biggest cause for concern and I am not very 'savvy' in this field but in my humble opinion it can be sorted out, but only if both parties want to. I'm afraid the the EU only want to punish us. I'll stick my neck out and say that we won't be the last to leave. Could be wrong of course.

And that’s why Brexit was the only way unless you are happy being the EU’s “bitch”.I expected problems when we left, and I am sure that once things are sorted we won’t be the only ones leaving. But then, what would I know having been injected with daily mail juice from my birth as an amoeba

I agree Mick but America and the UAE are just as far if not further than us with their vaccinations. Sitting around a Florida pool in the heat is more appealing to me than anywhere in this country which is actually more expensive, usually with tired accommodation and the weather can be pissing down with rain. Each to their own!

I really can't see the benefits of a holiday in this country as been all over and it does nothing for me. Even Centre Parcs is a complete rip off and you are slumming it to what you could get overseas. Maybe it's me but nothing worse than staying in this country!

I agree though Europe offers little apart from educational places such as Rome with kids going with you. I just love the heat so probably biased.

Never been to Florida. All that way to sit around a pool! Doesn't do it for me. Heat apart what is the attraction of the UAE?

Never been to South America and can't see it happening soon. Also lots of Asian countries on my list.

If there is one country I never tire of it has to be Italy. Got it all for me. Still as you say each to their own.

Just booked for a few nights in Es*** in mid June. That's a part of this country I don't know.
