Won't be back if Brown is coming in any role to the club, but will wait and see first though if true. I never went to games when Aitken was manager either.

The story is by Radar Jackson, so I wouldn't take it as gospel.

    Due prawcess my f*****g hole.

This has been about 12 months in the making at least.

I said Glass would be new manager once the Americans started getting their claws in.
    100% correct.

MSM... if you're reading this... give us a clue... please!

I'm not sure how I feel about the potential of Glass / Brown partnership. Neither has any experience really, but to be fair experience isn't everything. Younger, newer managers tend to have a bit more hunger about them and maybe more of a willingness to introduce new ideas rather than the same boring old rubbish.

Glass will have plenty contacts stateside and maybe still has a few in England from his time there. Brown won't have many contacts other than at Celtic, and I don't think he is really that big a "name" that he'll attract people in the way someone like Gerrard attracts people. He's probably just about past it as far as playing goes, but likely still has more ability to influence a game than any of our current midfielders (as highly regarded as some of them are such as Ferguson and McCrorie, they've not actually been very good for most of this season). I can't see him bringing many players with him from Celtic, unless it's younger players who've yet to breakthrough.

The big mystery in all this for me is why Cormack would take the risk with these guys. He seems to be more in touch with the fans feelings than Milne ever was, and he does seem to take it into account. He must realise how the Glass thing looks from a fans point of view, and he must know how much we all hate Scott Brown. If that is to be the management team, they'll need to make some impressive signings and get some good results from the off to win the fans over because I don't think they'll be welcomed as some kind of "dream team".

To be fair to Cormack I would agree that he does have a handle on what the supporters think. He must know that, on the face of it, a lot of us aren’t going to be chuffed by this but maybe he thinks these two will have us playing much better football and is willing to back that judgement. Brown speaks highly of Brendan Rodgers so if he’s taken in any of his ways maybe we can look forward to some better football (or maybe I’m clutching for positives!). And hopefully another bonus might be that the pair of them do get backed to bring in some good signings......to make up for the lack of buzz around the managerial appointment!

Most of the supporters would be happy if McInnes was still here. So **** them

Personally hoping that this is BS, but I would not be surprised if this happens, and if it does I'm out and will save myself a few quid over the year by not renewing my Red TV international subscription that I have had since the very first year it was introduced.

    Fkn shambles of an appointment.

    Yes, reading it.

Deal is 99% done, may even be announced within 48 hours.

They very much come a package. Alan Russell will be announced as part time until he is clear of the England set up in the summer, very well respected with their national set up, and will be a link for younger English talent.

Scott Brown has been doing some recruitment already, with 2 giving their words of coming with them. both internationalists.

The hold up is in the detail of how Stephen Glass can take over asap given the quarantine rules. Dave Cormack wants him in place for the cup tie, but..............

Alex Neil would have been on the radar, but already has a job lined up in England.
