    Frank Worthington has passed away.

One of the great entertainers, didn't matter if he didn't play for your team you enjoyed watching him play.

A bit of a journeyman, at least, late in his career. Therefore once asked about his ”favourite club”, and he then replied ”Hanöhus Night Club” - a then (early 1980s) famous night club in south Sweden (he played for Mjällby AIF). 😎😊

A real character, a maverick, played football at the right time, unlike the diving overpaid pansies of today
    RIP Frank

Yes, a great footballer, played the game the way it should be played, as entertainment; also a true ‘character’, something that is lacking in most modern players. RIP The Great Frank Worthington.

I knew some lads from Huddersfield. I remember them telling me how much he was admired up there and hero worshipped by the kids. There will be a lot of sad people in Yorkshire today. RIP Frank Worthington

He was manager of Hinckley Town in the early 90’s and he turned up at Stourbridge wearing the massive fur coat and fedora hat😎😏

Great character and a wonderful player.

    RIP to another childhood hero.
