Not a dislike, was just a solid but unspectacular player who isn't any better than any left back we have had for years (Robson, Dixon, Douglas, etc)

I seem to remember Douglas got loads of pelters when he was our left back after Dixon left. I knew loads of united fans who thought he was rubbish didn't rate him at all but because he's went away and had a decent career everyone now suddenly loves him. Douglas was decent with us without being spectacular.

Yeah was not mad on douglas think he was unlucky he came in after dixon who I really liked he has done really well away from us though.We have had some class left backs though with the likes of malpas and robertson.Can't make my mind up with robson sometimes think he is crap then think he is loads better like sat thought he had a great game but he has had few bad games.Suppose if he was brilliant every week would not be here now . The big issue with Douglas when he was with us, is one of his first games he put in an amazing cross from deep for Daly to score, so then stopped trying to go past a man and get to the byline and just put in **** crosses from deep from then on in.
