Just my luck to have two of them next to me in my office. Both don't trust the vaccine. One of them has had heart op too. Jeez

All it needs is the government to give a £10 amazon voucher with every jab.

    Attitudes will quickly change

Personally I don't seen why they want to vaccinate healthy people under 50 for it when they don't do that for flu, and don't say "because it's more dangerous", flu is more dangerous to healthy people under 50 (may actually be under 48 or 49).

    That is suspicious to me.

It’s part of this year’s census

So the government know what percentage of the population is terminally stupid

Family friends had covid 6 months ago, a very fit 45 year old working woman, and she's still not able to get out of her house. I wouldn't like to take that risk personally hearing what it's done to her

Mrs G had it in January, totally zonked for 10 days, another month after that before she started to feel anything like normal.

Equally the people who have got blood clots in their brains after having the vaccine no doubt regret taking it.

It's a small number of people in both cases.

But this is the reason I don't pretend to be an expert and I don't recommend getting it or not getting it, people have to make their own minds up and be allowed to do so.

Hope Fields Covid Memorial to have virtual unveiling

A living memorial at Thrybergh Country Park, to honour both the victims of COVID-19 and those who are fighting the virus, is to be unveiled online this week, on Saturday 27 March 2021.

Hope Fields, which overlooks the lake at Thrybergh Country Park, has been created in consultation with communities from across the borough as a tribute not only to people who lost their lives, but also to those who were part of the emergency response and recovery effort - from key workers to volunteers and communities.

With social distancing and wide-ranging restrictions still in place, the ceremony to unveil Hope Fields this weekend has been pre-recorded and will be broadcast on Facebook, allowing residents to take part from the safety of their own homes.
