    Fan tokens, an unwelcome innovation?

I don’t know if anyone else has seen this, an article in the ‘i’ newspaper today about ‘fan tokens’. I’m not sure that I understand all about it but it seems to be scheme based on cryptocurrency technology. Some French chancer has developed this and supposedly done deals with big football clubs, PSG, Barcelona, Juventus and so far, just one in England, Manchester City. The idea, as far as I can ascertain, is that ‘fans’ and clubs can purchase the tokens and then those holding them are entitled to participate in policy making for the clubs. It is not intended that real supporters, i.e. those that actually go to the matches, hold these tokens, they are for overseas fans. In other words, a money making scheme for the ****hole that thought this up and for the big clubs. Personally, I so much hope that this French tw@t and all participants lose a lot of money on this nonsense. Nonetheless, I think it is a worrying development.

Is there a token to buy which helps make it loud and clear that Lai and Dowling can go f uck themselves and get out of our club?
