Looks like Eli 'Hokey Cokey' ' Sam is OUT again. After previously being in, and out and in and out before that.

What about Barnett , offload him too?

As for Doyle I think that ship has sailed I believe NA has gone all in with his poker chips concerning his Captain Fantastic. His game plan revolves around him more than anyone in the squad, coupled with the fact that none of JOB, Reeves and the Wolfe Man have stepped up to consistently outperform Doyle means I can't see it happening. That doesn't mean it shouldn't. The central midfield has failed this season whatever combo is used.

Has any of the combinations ever excluded Doyle.?

I think this season feels worse because last season we progressively improved as the season went on, but this season has been very stop/start in terms of results and consistently poor in terms of results.
Also, I think our tolerance and patience this season is probably less than last season. Mine certainly is since our form dipped in Feb.
My main criticism of Ardley, and the owners for that matter, isn’t tactics or team selection, is that results have dipped and we’ve thrown money at the problem by signing more players. We’ve been there before, it ends badly.
Every team we play have a fraction of the squad size and are still playing the same amount of games. Injuries and fatigue are no excuse for us when we’re playing teams that can’t name a full bench.
I remember the munto season. We virtually didn’t play a game for 6 weeks from Dec to mid Jan due to bad weather. We then went on an unstoppable run playing every Sat-Tue. The team barely changed.
I don’t ever remember fatigue or fitness being an issue.
Since the new owners took over I’ve just wanted to see progression, no matter how slow/small. But the last few weeks have certainly felt like a regression in both results and old habits.
We’re still in the playoffs so it’s not catastrophic, but we need to hit form and start playing like a team that seems to have infinite resources compared to its opponents!
    Great post

We’re still in the playoffs, but I’ll be surprised if anyone has a tougher run-in than us. We need to play Wrexham, Bromley and Eastleigh twice, Torquay and Hartlepool away, and Sutton at home.

Put another way, only 6 of our remaining 16 fixtures are against teams in the lower half of the table.

That could be to our advantage, because it would mean a few 'six-pointers'.

The only drawback is that we have to win them!

In terms of league games I don't think so. Only the FA Trophy games where we rotate as many players as possible.

Didn't we do well overall against the top sides last season? I know it's a long time ago but I thought our record against teams around us at the top was pretty good? Maybe we have different history books Pedro?!
