I appears that at least the Western Isles are pushing ahead with the vaccination programme and anyone there over the age of 40 can now book an appointment. I think this is a good move as it gets a logistically difficult area completed, and will allow the islands to at least try and get their economies on the way to recovery.

In turn and once other Isles are dealt with, this will ensure that full focus will be on the vaccination effort on the mainland.
