Thread: 21/22 Season tix

Whatever reasons the club base their decisions on the fact remains there will not be many new or returning customers purchasing a season ticket at the prices being asked.
I also think many may not renew due to uncertainty about being able to attend.
Just my opinion but that's what message boards are for

I disagree I think most who had a season last year will renew everyone I know anyway.New season in the early bird £380 don't really think that is extortionate either but others seem to disagree so I could be wrong.Would be good to know prices all top league teams are charging?Again only my opinions only time will tell.

Bearing in mind this pandemic has now lasted over a full year, with many people financially impacted, nobody should’ve been forced to make a decision, some 4-5 months before the current season ended, never mind for when the next starts, or not knowing what league we would be in!!
I have no intention of taking anything back, but that approach irked me, so I deferred my decision. Fortunately, I can waive the credit and get a new season ticket, but sadly, I’m sure many are not in the same position, and now, those that may NEED to exercise that option to get their credit, are being punished, by having to pay full price, and possibly lose their existing seat (some could be long standing season ticket holders, who’ve always sat in the same seat, with friends or family!).
Loyalty goes both ways, and I don’t think the club have managed this well at all, to be honest. It was stupid to offer it in the first place, granted, but while we did get games streamed, Joe Public could watch games at a much cheaper price than they would PATG, so season ticket holders still took a hit.
For some fans, it could be the difference between watching United next season, or not, and I would never want any Arab denied that privilege.
Agreed on all points B, i dont know anyone wanting the credits but if they do i cant fault them for it either as thats what the clubs offered.

The club are now trying to penalise anyone wanting credits with threats of losing seats etc. No the best is it.

Yeh, basically they are making the decision for those thinking about taking the credits as difficult as possible and pushing them in to a wee bit of a corner. Essentially they are saying ‘Yes, take the credits by all means but understand that there will be penalties involved for you for taking such an action’. That was never part of the original credits proposal last year and can be seen as disingenuous at best.

Think most will renew and without credits. Whats worrying is the cost of new sts when mm is building a new team. Wont be many taking those up even in early bird. May see rise PATG if we do well. But i fear the new tickets will back fire and have a feeling they will put a new st special offer out once they realise that.

It'll certainly be interesting to see the numbers, if the club publicise them (which they traditionally do every year).

I must be reading the thing wrong hopeless at picking things up but where does it tell you about the punishment for those taking money back from club I can't see it?

I don't think any other team has their season tickets on sale yet.

The only info I can see with regards other clubs in comparison is season 2019/2020 but you'd still think we'd be at the top end of the scale a couple of years later.
