This thread sure is an interesting read. Few thoughts:

All this talk of parachute payments and how we lose that advantage, it's clearly a financial negative for the owners but I think it's overplayed. Sutton don't have the parachute payment, nor did Barrow or Harrogate so they all showed during our time in this league that you can promoted without it. The two clubs that's have us and Yeovil, who have not challenged near the top either season.

There is more at play here than just a lost parachute payment. I don't know the answer and I'm too lazy to look but would be interested to know how many sides who have been relegated from the league above have got promoted during those first two seasons when they have a financial advantage and how many relegated clubs got promoted without it.

Ardley can't use Covid as an excuse as it's the same for everyone and we are better equipped than most. Not that it doesn't mean he can't have been unlucky with the Roberts/Thomas scenario.

Agree with previous comments that his approach is far more suited to the underdog and to a small underdog in a higher league with better technical players.

The central midfield as identified by many has been THE problem area all this season, and all last season too. Ardley never solved the issue.

Here you go your covid remark saying it played no part in his sacking.
Yet when I said it earlier you called me fake dr pedro for saying that covid shouldnt effect notts you were slagging me off saying I was wrong..!
Oh dear...
Hypocrite and liar..! FACT...X
