Well that's one side of the coin well covered, we are indeed in a playoff spot and should be at Wembley.

However it's awful in terms of :

    The crazy number of games!
The very limited time on the training ground between a game every 3/4 days.
The poor performances and the clear lack of confidence that doesn't belie our league position.

Elite you've said yourself on many occasions the perfomances haven't warranted the points return and thus haven't warranted the current league position have you not? You can't change your tune just cos NA has gone and a new man is in. We were/are in a false performance based on actual perfomances you've seen right?

If you are a new manager at any club you need time on the training ground to slowly change things that clearly aren't working, you need time to coach the players and implement your approach to the game, your philosophy etc. It's not an overnight fix.

Watching (lots of) games yourself is great for seeing what's good and what's bad but doesn't allow you to change anything just highlights what needs changing.

Once again Sir, try more balance less bias.

The first two apply to every club, and the saying that springs to mind is 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'.

All of this needing time to slowly change things must mean the 'new manager bounce' never happens.

It happens a lot, but very rarely to us. I think most managers would have bitten your hand off to come into the situation Burchnall did.
