Here is my son in action at the end of the mayhem,he first invaded a pitch during a Scottish Cup match v Montrose away.He was born in December 1998,can anyone tell me what year that was played?.
He was going to Tannadice long before that but it was if memory serves me right was his first away day.

The true story behind that day for The Wee Man is i first of all i had not been on it and drove up to Perth,we were in the stand running the length of the ground as we had 2 and a half of the stadium that day.
At the end of the game he sat open mouthed as the Arabs invaded the pitch but we were so high up in the stand he couldna join in,having invaded Links Park he was itching to join in.
Anyway he could not as he was too far away, the police then cleared the pitch and we eventually decided to leave for home, when we got pitch side he said,"Dad can i go on the pitch too," i said no son we need to go home now but a policewoman heard him and said to me,"What will he do if i let him on?."
I said he will probably just play around the halfway line so she said i'm letting him on then. The rest is history as he charged up the wing to join the Arab hordes behind the goal,if memory serves me tonight he was in tears up in the gods and i if you watch closely so was i when he was finally caught,FACT.
Thon was some day! We got there early, but already the North Stand was full, and the queues in the South Stand seriously long, and after waiting about 10mins or so, and fearing not getting in, bit the bullet and paid the £26 (I’m sure, thieving Perth chunts) and went to the main stand, and that filled quickly too. The scenes at that third goal and FT were similar to the Partick play-off at Tannadice, mental. Also remember the pitch invasion by “the wee man” very well, was quality, and funny as the North Stand fans saluted him 🤣🖤🧡
We had a similar situation - drove through and arrived in not bad time for a normal game. Couldn't get parked anywhere near the ground though and had to go across the dual carriageway and park at the garden centre. Tried the two stands that we were supposed to be allowed in but both full. Legged it to the main stand and just coming through the turnstile as St Johnstone go 1-0 up. Get sat down just in time to see United win a penalty and Charlie sclaff it past the post, despite Main's best attempts to get out the way. This was quickly followed by St Johnstone's second.
As I recall, we just had to match St Mirren's result that day to secure SPL survival but they were 2-1 up at half time while we were 2-0 down. That would have left us with the nightmare scenario of a trip to Pittodrie the following week needing to win and hope for a favourable result elsewhere. The sheep would have loved to relegate us almost as much as the fun did. Thankfully Mr Hartley managed to get himself sent off and we mounted a famous comeback in the second half.
