Think he’ll go Wooton / Knowles with Knight to come on. Knight changed the game for me with his running off the ball and stretching them back, Knowles looked a different player once he came on.

He did, I'll forgive him for the 2 dolly headers he missed. He plays the 'Popeye' role very well.

Excellent result, just what we needed and two points gained on Sutton and Hartlepool. Let's hope Bromley do us a favour in the late game.

At last we appear to be on the front foot the pace of Knight today caused problems and when Cal is back we will cause teams problems.

Have to cut out these sloppy goals though

Excellent result. We clearly are a confidence side at the moment and it showed when we went in front but also when we went behind during the game. It was a very open game and hence why there were six goals in this. It could quite easily have been a 5-4 or a 4-4.

The turning point was certainly the introduction of Knight which gave the Woking back line the run around and put the cat amongst the pigeons so to speak which then also freed up Knowles. Pleased for Jimmy Knowles to get his first career hat-trick and coming on a day when we needed someone to step up and fill in for Wootton he was the man who remained calm and composed and delivered when through on goal three times.

Whilst we are scoring goals at the moment we need to stay focused on keeping tight at the back so we don't end up having to come back from behind like we have done in a number of games recently. Although it shows we do have the character to get back in games.

Our goals for column is now increasing to match other teams and our goal difference is now better than Hartlepool above us and Cheaterfield, Halifax and Wrexham below us. We are one behind Stockport and four behind Torquay. If we can keep slowly increasing our goal difference it could be worth an extra point and a higher league place come the end of the season.

Good game to watch that, thought we played pretty well and were clearly the better team throughout, but their strength and height on set pieces made it interesting.

Credit to Burchnall too - Ardley certainly wouldn’t have sacrificed a big man up front or let Rodrigues come on with no defensive responsibilities, but both worked perfectly second half.

Woking were poor and it wasn’t our best team performance. But, 3 points and a gain on Sutton & Hartlepool.

I liked the fact that Burchnall made changes early.

Massive game on Saturday. Wootton back in and Cal hopefully back on the bench.

One game at a time. But, momentum building. We can do this.

Yes I agree about giving credit to Burchnall. It could have been easy to take off Knowles and replace him with a like for like in Knight and leave Sam on. Likewise giving Rodrigues the freedom to remain as an outlet for attacks to be made. Also the changes were made early as well which gave the substitutes time to get into the game as well.

I think pulling Enzio and putting DKE on for the last five was also a good call as an insurance policy at the back to see the game out.

The back 3 combination of Rawlo, Ellis and Chicksen looks promising (the goals were due to mistakes by Barnett and Griffiths I think). Chicksen looks really at home there...

We didn't play that well tbh, Knowles took his goals very coolly but they were from defensive errors rather than made goals. The extra mobility up front, once Knight joined Knowles, was noticeable and it unsettled Woking. They were happier with Sam on the pitch, who doesn't do himself any favours - he needs to change his body language and show that he cares, he's looking sorry for himself
