Val gave Mowatt and Dike a right volley as they left the field this afternoon .
Seriously unimpressed , lack of professionalism isn't something Val is going to accept .
Wake up fellas , the stakes are fecking massive and we haven't come this far to fuq it up with shyte like this .

Exactly my worries Animal. Johnny Foreigner (players, and Fans).
“Hangers on” and “Temporary supporters” invading the sanctuary we have on a Saturday (normally).....Coming to see the Man Utd’s.... the Chelsea’s etc, and not giving a shiny Sh 8te after we’re relegated, but wanting treating like royalty.
I totally agree on the budget...... When I look at what that lot down the road spent on the likes of Mounier, who perhaps managed 3 goals in the Prem, and a few others who they’re only just getting off their wage bill, it’s sickening what trap they fell into.
Maybe that’s why I’m satisfied with 7th.
The only thing I can say is that our owners aren't exactly known for spending money and have a long term view of owning football clubs whatever that means .
They have no emotional attachment to the club which could actually work in our favour within a PL scenario and more a long term business outlook .
Dean Hoyle was a fan and so was John Dennis , it has it's merits of course it does but when the inevitable fall out comes it is a fall as we know all too well .
I personally wouldn't want this season to end up a boom or bust scenario long term .
A very decent player in the championship with the occasional season in the PL wouldn't be too shabby for a club of this size and and the economy of this town that exists .
In fact it would be utopia .
If we did get promoted I totally agree with what Animal is saying. Spend very little and come back darn stronger as a club with plenty of financial back up which will make us more equipped to maintain top aif status in the Championship.
if we don't go up we could easily find ourselves in a pickle with key players probably leaving and inevitably the head coach.
Promotion is definitely too soon in regard of the long term plan Conway has set, but the financial rewards if we did achieve promotion will speed up the plan 10 fold.
I get both your reasoningg, and it COULD leave the club a great legacy. But don’t you think that once top flight is achieved the owners would “sell on” for a grand profit, and move on? We would then be back at square one.
I’d suggest that this coach will not be here next season, even if NO players leave in the summer..
That day still haunts me against Ipswich . Looking at the table goal difference worries me.
I loved our last time in the PL. Great atmosphere, some great football to see and some great teams to play that we rarely came across. We were everyone's 2nd team and popular. We gave our all but were found wanting. If, by some chance we go up again, I agree give the lads a chance that got us there, but also add a little PL experience. These lads are not ready for the PL yet, but a season playing there will be invaluable to them and they will become better from the experience, but they will need some guidance. I agree don't spend spend spend and that around 25 mil is the best model when it comes to recruitment.
