yep, getting in the hardworking box-to-box midfielder would solve one problem; allow Reeves to do his sweeper thing and enable Rodrigues and Boldewijn to shine. Fingers crossed we can get one.

You can count the number of IB games on one hand still, yet NCM muppets have already formed an definitive opinion. It makes you wonder if they even understand football it wouldn't surprise me if we see a Burchnall Out thread .....

Thankfully it's great to still see plenty of supporters on here who clearly understand the situation, the weaknesses, the imbalance and above all the IB timescale involved to date.
Burchnall is here for a while I hope but we have to judge him on what we see. It's not knee-jerk unless anyone is calling for him to go, it's just saying what we see. What I've seen has been poor so far, but it's very early days and that viewpoint shouldn't confused with anything other than an honest and considered opinion what he's offered so far.

Credit for trying to change things, or criticism for getting it wrong in the first place?

Why are we still persevering with Enzio at wing back? He's totally wasted there, but not his fault. DKE a much better option. Compare where their no. 3 Ferguson was often playing to how often Enzio went forward. Has he been told to stay back?

Wootton had no service, Knowles ineffective - Hartlepool were a different proposition to Woking's shaky defence. Knight looks a good prospect but too much expectation on him, he really needs a goal. Feel really sorry for Roberts, he clearly has not recovered.

The better team won. Nothing else to say.

Our one hope of promotion limped off injured. Burchnall and the owners have a massive job of overhauling the playing staff over the summer.
You are not wrong. It must be the worse Notts team in history as we have never been at this level before. Some of the teams we have lost to over last two years is thoroughly depressing.

When you think of some of the rubbish Notts teams over the years...that is some 'achievement'! Even Thompson's team led by Jason Lee was better than this.

    Shocking.

We need a clear out, starting with the remnants of the relegation season. We need to rebuild the midfield and sign a proper partner for Wootton. We also need a new set of wing backs as Enzio playing back they makes me wince. McCrory is finished and the jury is out on Chicksen. Barnett can't pass and DKE is the most overrated player we've had for years.

As regards Striker, I couldn't agree more, but I think we need at least 2 to replace the 2 that left, rather than cheap replacements or 'one's for the future'. Barnet we could do without, DKE is more than adequate for this level. What we need is more legs and more creativity in midfield. Exactly what we've needed for the last 2 seasons. IAH.

4th away game in a row that we've conceded two goals, right on the back of equalling the club record of away clean sheets.

I honestly think we weren't poor against Wrexham (1-0) and consider IB made some positive changes when Notts beat Woking 4-2. Hopefully it's one step back before two forward.

I would say they are more suited to losing than winning..Regardless of formation..
