Quite a contrast from the last time we played Eastleigh at home. Currently out of the top 7 and with only 3 home games remaining and 7 away (incl Torquay, Wrexham and Bromley), it does look like we're done if we lose today.

I predicted we'd finish 9th at the start of the season but thought we'd start badly and then recover after changing manager half way through the season. Turning out to be the complete opposite.

I'm guessing IB has been told not to worry about promotion this season and use the games to look at players judging by the team selection!!

I'm with you, these two seem to be totally clueless - boot out your best players and play 5 defenders, even at home. Even Curle wouldn't have done that

If I was a non league defender playing Notts I'd be happy watching them play the ball across the back four and occasionally to Reeves, no pressure. Surely Notts have the ability to pass the ball in the opposition half a bit and make Eastleigh work.
Do I expect too much? The last few seasons it seems like too often the Notts team have taken tranquillisers before the match.
No team is a walkover in this league, far from it, but Notts treat every team like they are playing Man U. We sought to be going out and showing some of these teams the workrate and determination to win that a team with the name Notts County should have.
I just think some of the players are too happy to coast through matches. Do they ever get a sweat on.
    Anyway COYP!

As you wish. Whatever we call it, the two wide guys are asked to get up and down and contribute both defensively and offensively and the three forwards are free to play as genuine forwards, whereas in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 the wide forwards are often expected to do more tracking back.

Charlie Slater has said a few times this half that "It's a tough watch".... he's just sighed "Dear me."
He probably wishes he'd stuck with the Stag job.

Not even the play offs. This is embarrassing.
Why isn’t Rodriguez in the squad? These two muppets are clueless I’m starting to question the owners now another two penny pinchers?
