Burchnall has questions to answer for sure - he's clearly not got the short term motivational skills of a Martin Allen or Sam Allardyce, who specialise in getting the most out of what they are working with. I do keep coming back though to the fact that the deficiencies we've been seeing since he was appointed are the same problems we've had all season. It's recruitment, squad balance and mentality that are killing us, not tactics, formations or systems.

I will personally judge IB after he's had a chance to work with his own players, or at least players that the owners have brought in to fit into his way of playing. Unfortunately that will quite clearly be in the National League next season, unless there is a very radical change in proceedings.
