That is the first bit of sense I've seen on here in weeks, when a player shows promise sign them to a longer contract asap so that good players don't walk for peanuts IMHO

Exactly. If he's doing his job his agent will be making sure he doesn't. Fans will hate that fact but it's what they get paid for and if we are honest, if any one of us were his agent it's what we'd be doing. Originally Posted by clarkey1974

True but at little old Rovram he would be No1 and in the shop window, if we leave it til next year he walks on a free or we have an option on him for another year and then he walks on a free yet again.
