You know they aren't leaving English football, this is just a replacement for the Champions League?

Are eufa not threatening that they will not be allowed to play in other tournaments national cups, leagues, internationals etc?

Yes AraBrian, that's exactly what they are being told.

    Quite right, too.

So they will just be playing amongst their selfs the 15 members and trying to get 5 others to join them each season. Will the 5 others who get thrown out each season be allowed to rejoin their national leagues or will that be them out of football for good?Don't think the yanks have thought this through.

    No, I don't either.

It's a complete ****show and - if they do actually go ahead with it - it may finally see "normal" fitba, not the shiny TV guff we've had for 30 years, return.

Imagine clubs paying players good wages but not bursting themselves to do it. Imagine set times for matches, that suit the paying customers and not TV companies. Just Imagine a level pkaying field for clubs again.

Let the ego clubs go, whether it's these ones or Them in our league wanting to go elsewhere.

My big worry really isn't for United: it's for the national, continental and global structures which make fitba the same worldwide and allows the World Cup to happen, the absolute pinnacle of our game.

Yeah can't see it having much of an affect on scottish football. The bigot brothers will be sniffing around every where trying to get someone to take them would be good if spanish leages took them and they both moved over there and took their bigot supports with them.

Yeah, this seems like a certainty and I'm sure they are shocked to the unanimous outrage by everyone (from fans to the heads of UEFA and FIFA) at their plans.

Think they thought they were like septic and rancid and could do what they want and all the fa's and eufa and fifa etc would just do as they were told think that eufa and fifa bit stronger than sfa unless brown envelopes involved.

    FIFA president Gianni Infantino:

If some elect to go their own way, they must live with consequences of their choice.

They are responsible for their choice completely. This means you are either in or you are out. You cannot be half in and half out.

Think about it. Everyone has to think about it. This has to be absolutely, absolutely clear.
