    Shark, like me obviously prefers the original, written and performed by the Band. Which includes "Stoneman" and "served". It is said (albeit by Wiki) that JB recorded the song having misheard the lyrics and, in later performances, did sing the lyrics as written

    Wrinks, looking at the lyrics, you would have to be the driver of the engine to claim you 'drove on the Danville train' as in driving it forward down the line etc. I suppose Joan did make a mistake but it's the one I stick to, each to their own as they say.

    I hope IBS has been in full voice today knocking it out at the top of his vocal range. I've listened to it again just for good luck.
