99/00 was also a good comparison because again, it was a successful season. 12 penalties were awarded that season in all comps.
You have obviously researched this. What were the number of penalties in the Championship seasons from 2006/7 ?. Does a successful season always correlate with a larger number of penalties ?

The "eh" is because i am surprised at this statement but I defend your right to say it. Somebody on here said recently--

Not necessarily but I'd say a larger percentage of penalties are given to teams in the top 6 because they are more attack minded and offer the opposition far more problems in the attacking third than a bottom 6 team would.

    06/07- 3 pens awarded, final position 20th

    07/08- 8 pens, finished 18th

    08/09- 7 pens, finished 20th

    09/10- 2 pens, finished 18th

A can't be arsed doing any more SB.

Someone should actually point out to Thomas Frank that VAR goes the other way too .

I say that because his star forward Toney wouldn't have completed the game against ourselves back in February had VAR been in place .

Be careful what you wish for Mr Frank it could bite you , the same as did when your midfielder De Silva was red carded in the Carabao cup semi final against Spurs and you had an equalising goal ruled out because Toney's toe nail was offside .

    Fools Gold Mr Frank .

Very good point, it does indeed work both ways.

I reckon nubdy fancies laiking us in these play offs. 7/2 sez that the Reds go up. Worth a punt fo me and am certainly going for it.
