That result and performance is simply not good enough. Back to before Torquay.

These players are not bothered about getting in the play-offs from what I've seen today. There was no urgency, belief or intent to win the game and the last few minutes told the story of why we are not up there. We seemed more scared of losing near the end so were cautious, rather than going for the win. Torquay and other teams near the top are brave and keep going right until that final whistle and have got their rewards and scored goals. We have at times earlier on in the season.

Where was our keeper coming up at the death and where was our intent to get the ball into the box on as many occasions as possible in the last ten minutes? The same old safe passing between defence and midfield and slow going forward then losing the ball in the final third. Rinse and repeat.

That's what we are lacking and missing that endeavor and fight to finish games off rather than hanging onto what we have. There is a fragility and lack of confidence or something missing. I can't see it changing now in the last 7 games after its been going on for 35 games.

Think it might be time for the fans to prove a point and not buy the stream for the next home game. Might sharpen minds in the club to either explain their reasoning or to change strategy

Have to say I've lost the will with this team. I won't be paying for any more streams or listening to player videos about how they know they have been underperforming but things will change now blah blah blah. Doyle being the latest. He's the team captain, it shouldn't have been needed 10 games from season close. They are gutless and have no hope of promotion.

Let's wait for next year and see if Burchnall can build a team of fighters.

I had some hope today that against a poor side in poor form, we might just get it together today. Instead, a draw was basically the same as a defeat. I have now accepted that there is zero chance of the play offs this season, regardless of how many games there are left. We just do not have it in us.

The fact is our problems today have been problems for the vast majority of this season. No incisiveness, no creativity, no intensity, a negative mentality, a basic lack of team cohesion and above all, utterly ineffective movement going forward. The result is the farcical sight of us passing the ball along the half way line for the final 8 minutes as if promotion were already secure.

In short, this squad doesn't have the attributes to win games at this level. We cannot score goals.

Terrible. It was an Ardleyesque performance. Respect the point. No urgency. No creativity. I appreciate Enzio is a confidence player but he was atrocious today. Long throws were laughable too. Very poor all round.

Burchnall admitting we were poor today and didn't deserve anything more than a point, didn't have anything like the same attacking intensity as the previous few games. Not enough urgency at the end. Altrincham sat low and countered. We moved ball too slowly. Never created the space to move forward. We believe but lack the quality, lack movement and runs.
