When the fans went into the stadium it reminded me a bit of the storming of the White House! Unfortunately events like these attract the thug element who ruin it for everyone and divert away from the main point. Violence cannot be accepted.

However, somehow these massively rich overseas investors need to be stopped from creating closed shop leagues such as the ESL. It will fundamentally change the game across the whole of Europe not just the countries where ESL clubs come from. The likes of Sky will be all over the ESL and therefore money to the rest of the clubs in England will be dramatically reduced and you can forget anything like the Championship clubs or heaven forbid the Football league clubs getting my money.

These mega rich businessmen, the mega salaries the top players and agents get, the huge cost for the fans of either attending or watching football on tv all need to be addressed now because the business model is a busted flush and needs to be fundamentally recreated. The difference between the haves and the have nots even in the same Premier league is ridiculous.

Football at the top level has lost its heart and roots and needs to get it back before it is too late, if it isn’t already too late. We need to take the game back off these mega rich people and the players will have to go back to earning a pittance. In other words as as much as the average fan earns in a lifetime in say 3 years instead of 6 months, greedy so and so’s. Just as much a part of the problem as the owners in my book.
