Training ground bust ups happen all the time, so unless he's chinned someone then it would seem they're taking the first opportunity to get rid of him....

Les Bradd on Magpie Circle saying he was very surprised because he watched them train last week and the players seemed to be very much behind the coach and manager. "Gobsmacked... very difficult for Ian to carry-on on his own".

Mace "My understanding is the decision to remove Ross is completely independent of Ian Burchnall.... nothing to do with Ian".

Maybe a better no.2 has just become available and they've had to make their move now.

Maybe the Bros want to bring someone with experience in as a D.O.F or similar and Mo wasn't up for it?

The owners change, the managers change and we regularly change the players. No matter what, the chaos remains!
    This is Notts County!

I noticed that as well. It would normally end with "We thank Mo for all his hard work and wish him well for the future". Instead, saying "We will be making no further comment" only pours fuel onto the social media fire.

I work in comms (albeit not football), and the statement is worded in a very deliberate way.

Young fan Chloe on MC saying that we need to have something to play for when the fans are allowed back for the final game.

That's a point isn't it. If there isn't, what sort of atmosphere will there be for that?

Scarily true! Steps 1-6 have been mostly completed, and although I don't think step 7 is close yet, the seeds have certainly been planted. We must have done something really, really bad in a past life to be made into Notts County fans.
