Sorry, but this is nonsense.
We do have an idea who might become available, because the number of candidates isn't exactly bursting at the seams.
You appeared to mention Warnock because you literally couldn't think of a better suggestion for who might replace Warne. It was a ridiculous suggestion. If I'm wrong, name a better candidate?
You say we fail in big games... I take it you wasn't there at Wembley? Or the playoffs? Or you didn't watch the Sheff Wednesday game earlier this season or many others I could name?
You say we "only made it on PPG". Last season was exceptional but that comment is like saying we only got promoted because we got more points on average than the other teams - that's how league tables work.
What a victim complex.
How do you think message boards work? You post an opinion and then people can agree or disagree.
People are disagreeing with you, that is not the same thing as saying you're not allowed to hold an opinion. Crikey. Poor you if you live your life thinking disagreement is an attack on your freedom to have an opinion.
In answer to your question, 1) we have to be grateful for as long as we have a football club.
and 2) asking someone else to spend millions of pounds when you're not spending millions of pounds yourself is, to most reasonable people, asking too much.
Edit: Also, you're allowed to criticise all you want, I'm just allowed to think you're ungrateful and have no comprehension or understanding of what he has given this club when you do so.
Of course not, he's a rich man.
What i am saying is how much do you sell a club for with no ground as assets? We pay(i think £1M in this Div and half that in L1). If he was going to sell the ground then how much is it worth? How much as been paid off the £15M so far?
More important is what happens in 10yrs(or so) time when it's paid off, do we get free rent ????
Oh you really are clutching at straws with this post.
How on earth do you expect me to name a better candidate when I have no idea who we could afford? Do YOU know who we can afford. It's down to the chairman to start talking to people.
Well obviously we've won SOME big games but what about Wycombe, Coventry, Birmingham? Tons of examples here. Not just this season either. I see you ignored the other points I made.
I do know how league tables work, do you? It's where you play everyone twice not finish the season early. We were stuttering badly when lockdown came and teams around us were flying.
Maybe you're just the sort of person who fails at something and tries the exact same thing.
I know we can afford Paul Warne, P2, W2 in terms of promotion at L1 Level.
You don't know who we can afford. You can't even come up with one name that we might be able to attract, afford, and who would be better than Paul Warne can you?
Maybe you see having a stable, well run football club yo-yo ing between L1 and the Championship as failure. MAybe until one of us can afford to bank roll us that is actually success and we should keep trying the same thing?
If we switch manager and hypothetically end up lower mid table in L1 next season - will you be glad we rolled the dice and didn't try the 'same thing'?
I apologise, it was magically getting really good players on loans for just a fraction more than we paid that was your all encompassing master plan, because teams are just queuing up to loan out their best players to the marginally highest bidders at struggling relegation battling clubs.
