Tetley's (tea) or home made milky coffee (I think they call them lattes these days). Never been a big consumer of cold drinks, even on hot days.

Tomato and basil cuppa soup with pepper, Worcestershire sauce and grated red Leicester cheese. Sometimes washed down with a pork scratching, cheese sandwich. Loverly.
