It's been the model followed by clubs like Ajax for years .
Not saying we are in same league as them for development of players , but it hasn't done them much harm .
Seeing us do it will encourageore players and more importantly their greedy agents to come here and get bigger move in couple seasons.

Sad to see Lewis leave in this way, but if we get the fee we want and it goes straight back into the squad, I'll get over it.

At least he is not sitting and allowing his contract to run out and leave for free and has to be admired for that .
AFC will get a decent fee, which can be reinvested.

Unless he goes to the dark side , he will go with my best wishes.

He signed a long term deal and would’ve been on a good wage for it .

Now he’s had his head turned and wants to leave , I’m not sure I’ll be admiring him for that .

The club will make a decent profit on him which should be invested back into the squad so I won’t be too upset when he leaves , good player and I’m sure a nice loon too but he was a McInnes poster boy so probably a good time for him to leave for both parties .

If McInnes gets the West Brom job, he’ll go there to continue their love in.

The only annoying thing is this will probably drag on and it’ll be a while before he eventually goes - would be best for everyone if he went as soon as possible so Glass can make the most of the money bringing in new players.

Not a chance McInnes gets a job with a club with aspirations to be in the EPL.
The WBA association is a generation ago.
He’ll end up at Dundee Utd or Hearts.
We are the biggest club he’ll ever manage.

Even if he got the WBA job, your above statement would still be true.

I see Ferguson’s agent is mouthing off in the papers that the club have let him down .

Apparently there was an agreement that the club wouldn’t stand in his way if a premier league club came in for him .

We’re obviously not going to let him go for the first low ball offer that comes in for him before the window even opens , particularly when we have him on a three year contract .

Agents are bell ends these days .
