Kiko in for Meslier, to play in front of fans for the last game, WTF?

Far be it for me to criticise Bielsa, but really, WTF??????

Is he WANTING to pi55 off our No.1 GK (who may I add, is the subject of interest from quite a few clubs and who might just decide he could do better (and be treated more fairly) elsewhere)?

He said that a few days ago, all I can think/hope is he is putting Casilla out on view hoping to get a bid for him! Bielsa was apparently impressed with his quick play that led to the second goal at Southampton. He is also keen to give some players an early break.

France U21s manager Sylvain Ripoll on Thursday announced his squad for the final stage of the Euros taking place later this month so he's got a well earned early break and maybe a few days on the beach with his Mum in Lorient Brittany up the road from us.

Goalkeepers: Dimitry Bertaud (Montpellier), Alban Lafont (Nantes), Illan Meslier (Leeds United)

Defenders: Benoît Badiashile (Monaco), Colin Dagba (PSG), Wesley Fofana (Leicester City), Ibrahima Konaté (RB Leipzig), Dayot Upamecano (RB Leipzig), Pierre Kalulu (AC Milan), Faitout Maouassa (Rennes), Adrien Truffert (Rennes)

Midfielders: Houssem Aouar (Lyon), Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes), Maxence Caqueret (Lyon), Romain Faivre (Brest), Youssouf Fofana (Monaco), Boubakary Soumaré (Lille), Aurelien Tchouaméni (Monaco)

Attackers: Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen), Odsonne Édouard (Celtic), Amine Gouiri (Nice), Jonathan Ikoné (Lille), Randal Kolo Muani (Nantes)

Yep, Meslier has been called up for the French team, every credit to the lad, fully deserved after keeping so many clean sheets this season

Errrr....bollox to that, he is on record as having dropped Meslier for the "going long" action against Bumley (despite saving us from Woods etc and us winning 4 - 0), and now we get the clown for the last game of the season and the first with fans at ER, some f00king reward for the best performance n the PL from GK in his ****s!

Don't be surprised if Meslier hands in a transfer request and equally unsurprising if he gets multiple bids for his services, then who would we be left with, oh yes, the clown, again.

So Bertaud first, Meslier as "fill in", despite being the youngest Gk n the PL, the most competitive in the world, to achieve the most clean sheets, very complimentary. And playing in front of fans at ER against the Baggues wiyld be such a risk?

Never underestimate how vendictive, childish and mendacious those in positions of power can be.
