Knowing how football works - tight margins, decisions going your way, momentum, confidence, players gelling or not gelling etc. If we'd stuck with Fullarton there is a chance, however small, that we would have been in League One by now (along with Sunderland, Sheff Wed, Ipswich and Portsmouth) challenging for a place in the 2nd tier. You could just as easily say the same about Tommo, Moniz, Mills, Thordarsson, Sheridan, McP, Nolan or Kewell.

Of those names I've just mentioned, I think it would be reasonable to suggest - given the size and history of the club with all of its' up and downs - that at least one of them *would* have inevitably come good at some point and got Notts promoted simply because it's Notts County. By the same token, some of them would have made things even worse whilst the rest wouldn't have made any difference and got sacked anyway within x amount of additional games. We could argue over which of those managers was the best of a bad bunch, but if it was possible to gaze into a crystal ball and see which one would have been a success had we stuck with him, we'd probably be very surprised.

At National League level, I'd be confident that most of those former managers would have been able to get this club promoted. Some much quicker than others. I think that was the problem with Ardley, he would have managed it eventually but how long would you be prepared to wait playing that style of football?

We know hes a wind up merchant. But he is serious in his mission and he loves Ardley.wind ups work both ways choooo choooo
Quite stupid winding people up though when your mission is to rid the board of petty arguments and you are the instigator of them wouldn't you think.
    True story dat...!
    Choooo choooo
I think barrow should go for Sol instead of Ardley
    Great game yesterday.!

Doesn't seemed to have stemmed the flow at all.
Yet you haven't done it, rendering this paragraph breathtaking hypocrisy. IMO you are full of it unless you actually follow through and ignore them.

Ha ha no one on here can move on, it's groundhog day version 10,456. Go kiss a pretty girl or boy, go for a meal, a walk, have a laugh, put your favourite film on or learn a new skill. Or talk about Ardley and who said what for infinity beyond. I was made to feel an idiot by a certain poster for criticising Ardley and talked to like a child and I felt like caving his head in. Do I want to spend the rest of my spare time and life going on about it? No it doesn't matter, it's done with and boring.

Try reading it again. One person won't do as you ask, flatly refuses. So you can count him out. The other has done already and it's clearly changed nothing as evidenced all weekend, looks around you can't fail to miss it. That leaves just me. Obviously I'm very confident I can ignore both and I will chuck in Navy for free but you must realise that if only 1 out of the 3 successfully ignores then it's doomed to fail? Needs all 3 surely?

So in summary you have basically suggested what I and others have already suggested many many times on here. Not that that's a problem because it's the obvious solution, just needs willing participants.

As CF sums up so succinctly "it's done with and boring". Certainly no need to get wound up about it.

I feel sure you meant 'tosh', but ne'er mind. Accuracy never was one of your strong points.

He has never considered that him actually ignoring everyone would solve the problem instantly. Instead he constantly claims that he only wants to talk about Notts County, then immediately does the exact opposite!
