People are thinking Hughes is bad, but (and I’m not making this up) Barry Ferguson has now just quit Kelty Hearts................

Ffs this is giving me the fear

I didn’t like MM thought he was too negative and too cautious at times but him leaving does make me worry about what’s going on behind the scenes and who we’re likely to end up appointing

I would have had Hughes in 2016 when we appointed Mixu but I wouldn’t appoint him now

I am seriously gutted. I thought we were growing into a club about to challenge. This is clearly a fall out. MM said just recently that he was happy and until he was not wanted he would be staying. If Ashgar Junior is promoted to coach I will know we are f3cked.

If big Tony's son is the bait to any incoming manager then i give you my word i will not set foot in Tannadice until Tony, his FN son and the new manager are gone,FACT.

Can't say id be bothered about MM leaving. Not really looking forward to next season if its going to be the same as the last. Ashgar has done lots of good since coming to us, we were an absolute mess before then and we have built a decent team with some very good youngsters coming through. That being said If he's looking to force his son in to a coaching job unmerited that is a poor show. The fans deserve some clarity on the whole situation either way. Hughes isn't a bad manager either tbh, wouldn't be my 1st choice but it wouldnt bother me seeing him named as manager.

I say phukk him, if he doesn’t want to be at Tannadice then fine, but don’t spin the sh*te “we are Dundee United” and the jack it after one season. Off ya pop ya pr*ck, away back to ersehole clubs in Northern England.

As for fannybaws replacement, better get my Tangerine and Black Union Jack oot, just in case 😉

If you’d listened to his interviews the last few weeks it was obvious he didn’t want to go. He spoke about just moving his family north last season and that he was the United manager until told no longer required. He was shoved mate.
