Of course it is. But going on previous reported salaries, probably not far off?

Indeed. That's what happens without, as you say, a statement though. It's been handled pretty poorly. We deserve better.

It's just pure guesswork. Honestly, I'd be surprised if the figures are as high as you suggest. Anyway, if Mellon wants out of his own accord it may cost the club nothing.

It is, based on what I think the managers salary would be. Houston was reportedly on £200K a year.when he refused his pay cut. I don't imagine Mellon will be too far away from that.

I'm more worried about what I have paid my money to watch. Could see the thoughts at least with what Mellon was trying to build. If Hughes is appointed then I will have no pleasure in watching. A number of the others touted that don't spark any interest either.

Depends what his contract terms were.....some are suggesting it was a rolling 1 year deal or that there was break clauses. It might mean no pay off.

He deserves one though and although his football was awful for the season he got the results required and was a gent throughout.

I can only assume that the 'amicable' report means that both parties are satisfied with the outcome, financially and otherwise, which would suggest the club isn't getting skinned on a pay-off and Mickey isn't hindered in finding another job.

So that's another manager happy to leave due to the structure and 'goings on' at board level. There's a common denominator here.

Who were the other managers who were happy to leave due to the goings on at board level? Last manager left because he was offered a job at what he sees as his club most before him got their books back to houston?
