For me, McInnes has seemed like the best option on the face of things. Taking away any club strategy or vision etc. Semi-sucessful Aberdeen manager, ex United captain with an ex Utd coach as his no.2. All adds up. Aberdeen were still in the top 4 when he left. And I'm pretty sure they have been in the top 4 every season he was there. People might say "quite right" because of budget etc but remember we were relegated with the THIRD biggest budget in the league. He is the safest of safe pair of hands we are going to get. And if the club are that desperate to blood youth - put something in his contract or something. Just get him in.
