    The Welsh International is Released

Kanu is on his bike so makes you wonder - why the f uck was he given a place in the squad for last three games though he did ok to be fair!

Do we never give youngsters a chance at this club even when relegated!

Thank God for that, I really thought he was going to be offered a new contract for his couple of goals towards the end of the season.

Check Diaby also released, along with a load of kids. Granted I've never seen them play, but could they be worse than some of the rubbish we've seen from the 1st team this season?

My thoughts 123 as don’t understand why youngsters were not given a go once we were officially relegated! Glad Kanu is going and we do need a decent goal scorer. Let’s hope Diangana and Grant come good in the Championship. Sell Pereira and Johnstone and use cash on rebuild

Strange timing, given that we are supposed to have a new manager imminently one would have thought that the club would wait for the new man to make such assessments for himself. Makes one wonder whether our new manager will have much of a say regarding which players are brought in. Like many, I’ve no confidence in Dowling & Co.

Stupid decision, he is a good squad player and one we should have kept at least until
    we have a replacement!

Goes to show the manager has no say on player movements

I think that I would have kept hold of Kyle Edwards especially playing in the Championship. I would prefer him over Matt Phillips next season.

I don’t get why Edwards was released! Yes he’s inconsistent but no more than Phillips and in my view has far more potential!

As Dowling made all these footballing decisions as he knows f uck all!

I like Edwards too, but he hasn't made enough of an impact at Championship or Premiership level. When you're given chances at our level, players have to take them. Someone will have him, hope he prospers-not over for him yet.

I think they would both be useful squad members for the Championship.
