Jack Gurr just released by Atlanta. No prizes for guessing his next stop

Looks like we have solved a full back position. Glass obviously rates the lad. Let’s hope he does well.

Most of that article made no sense to me at all - waiver lists and rosters and semi something contracts.

Anyway… hopefully he’s half decent if he signs. Hasn’t played that many games for their B team never mind A team. Something a bit different at least.

Quick question for those in the know - how would this guy get a work permit when folk thought the Ramirez chap would struggle to get one? Is it to do with his age?

If Hernandez, Atlanta’s 2nd choice right back wasn’t deemed good enough, I can only imagine their 4th choice right back will be utterly Sh1te.

I reckon this issue /situation goes right to the hesrt of the " transparancy " of Cormacks reign ?

He has , finally /eventually, explained rhe Hernandez situation by informing us he funded rhe purchase. And thst Hernandez is an Aberdeen player.
But he has not explained to us , yet ..... why Deek never played him , or why we have not called him baxk from Atlanta ?

Over to you Mr C ??

( For what its worth , I doubt we will get the answer to first part. Id surmise Cormack bought him , on an Atlanta recommendstion , and he was forced on Deek. Part of Cormack freezing him out. Just like not allowing him to spend any cash buying replacements at a good time ? Maybe. Be very very curious to see how he explains the Gur signing when we theoretically have a better player already on the boks.......unless of course , if the Yanks turn sround and pay us for Hernandez in the near future. Then it all falls into place ? )

The Jon Gallagher of rightbackery. Small headless chicken running. Hopefully means we’re saving the big bucks for a few other superstars elsewhere in the team.
