is it possible they are now looking for a manager and head coach? ie courts effectively assistant but in charge of training and input into selection and tactics? a manager or DOF

This is what they should be doing if they are insistent on Courts being involved. A Head Coach (with experience) and Courts as Assistant. We won't get a DOF as that is effectively Asghars role.
