Many good clubs have been down below for various reasons, but the cream seems to be slowly rising to the top. This is a league I recognise and looking forward to doing battle in. We really need a good manager to compete in there.

Maybe he just prefered his time at tranmere got told job was his if he wanted it and decided he did aproached TA and utd were happy to let him go no Idea if that is what happened though.Says on utd site no appointment imminent utd still interviewing for his replacement?
