    It’s always quiet just now
    Players are on holiday
Remember, it took the whole bloody summer waiting for Hayes to work out that they had email in Thailand or wherever he was.

    McGinn’s a good enough signing

On 15 minutes off the bench wages

McGinn is a good player, just needs a bit more consistency. On his game though he can cause teams a lot of problems....hopefully that is the McGinn we see next season.

I know mcginn can put in a good cross but for me he slows the play down far too much now - rarely beats his man, always cuts back and plays it backwards or sideways. Id much rather see him play through the middle where he can maybe still produce a moment of magic than our wide. We need real pace out wide.

I suspect McGinn will be mainly on the bench anyway and providing he’s not on a big wage his experience will be handy with youngsters coming through.

I'm actually quite happy to have McGinn extend his stay, I am sure he will be used more as an impact sub coming off the bench with 20odd minutes to go, and as I have said before I would be much happier seeing McGinn come on for the last 20minutes or so than some of the other total wasters that we could bring on.
On the other hand he does also tick the box that is now starting to appear to be a mandatory requirement of 30years old and above.
So for that reason alone I remain an angery pisher.

Speaking about 30 years and above is Scott Brown in the building yet?

Nah he's got his Euro 20 (but now 21) pundit duties to fulfil first.

Probably not I was reliably informed he will be working a 4 day week here. Family remaining in Glasgow. A well known ex-don enquired about a west end property on his behalf over the weekend.

I don’t know who your source is but at least some, and possibly all, of that isn’t true.

    He's never lived in Glasgow.

Wednesday lunchtime and we've still not signed anyone.

    GK - Lewis, Woods
    RB - Ramsay
    CB - Gallagher, Considine
    LB - McKenzie
CM - Brown, Ferguson, McCrorie, McGeouch, Ojo, Campbell, Virtanen
Wingers - Hedges, Kennedy, McLennan, McGinn, Hayes
    ST - Thomas, Ruth

I've probably forgotten some, but that seems to be the squad we have at the moment. Incredibly thin defensively and up front, overrun by midfielders, and a load of (mainly hopeless) wingers. I'm still struggling to work out what formation it was Glass was playing, other than it was 4 at the back. 4132 or 4123 or maybe 4141.

As much as we need to bring more bodies in, we also need to offload the likes of Ojo, Kennedy and McLennan, and probably shed another midfielder or two as well.
