    Just returning to the match itself, surely most of us would have preferred to see an attempt to win ? If we failed and lost, I would have admired their attempt and not be devastated over the loss.
    How are the two NZ Test matches referred to as a ‘Series’ ?
    I noted a pundit commenting that ‘as it is a 2 Match Series’ we did not want to go one down and therefore to secure the draw was paramount. Give me strength, I don’t believe it !

    I thought this too, surely a better advert for the game if there is a result. I would have preferred us to have had a go. And I think if the boot had been on the other foot, NZ would have gone for it.
