Torquay are so 1 dimensional but effective, Notts playing all the football and for all the terrible passing Doyle is spraying around some great balls...Reeves going through a lot of work in midfield, Rodders is being Rodders...this is there for the taking if we truly believe...what an effort from Brindley just now!

Controlled possession and it's a shame half time came as we were pushing for a second. A few players need to do more in the second half...but we've kept Torquay relatively quiet.

Well, once we started playing, we looked ok. We need a better 2nd half now.

Let's be honest most of our possession is passing it around our defence in our own half.

That's fine though in the hot conditions and has nullified any further threat from Torquay as going 2-0 down would have been calamitous. It allowed us to patiently play our way back into the game. Once we scored the equaliser we have grew in confidence and became stronger as the half went on with the majority of the play in the Torquay half and we were clearly on top by the time the half time whistle went.

This is ours if we can pick up how we finished the second half and keep pushing Torquay back in the second half. It won't take long for their crowd to turn either, especially if we can get a second before the hour.

Hopefully that goal will settle us down - some players were overawed by the occasion it seems. At least that goal shows we can strike back, it should give everyone confidence.

Torquay are going to come out all guns blazing to try and get back on the front foot. Notts just need to stand firm and the long the half goes on, we'll take control as their energy levels drop.

Just like against Chesterfield, Torquay are having to work so hard off the ball to close the space down of our fluid movement, it has to impact their fitness levels as the game progresses.
