Absolutely gutted. I blame Ardley, wasted this club for 2 years at this level, and the reason we did not finish higher up the table

Why not credit to Torquay, they finished above us, we haven't beaten them this season that I remember and they've beaten us 4-2 today. Yes we could have won but we haven't, being a bad loser makes us look like saddos. Fair play to Torquay.

You really are a clown. There was half a season left when IB took over and still you blame Ardley.

This team was good enough to go up out of this division regardless who was in charge but way too many bottlers in this squad, needs the decks sweeping in the summer and main priority is a center forward who can actually take chances on a consistent basis

When IB took over we were already out of contention for automatic, and trailing the 2nd and 3rd positions, i believe we will do much better next season

The nearly efforts are summing what we've been for the past two years, a nearly team. We have finished in our lowest ever position in the football pyramid in 6th of the fifth tier but we have been matched with 2nd place and have had the chance today to show what we can do and whether we are worthy of promotion. We are just that bit short, just like last season.

It will be time to take stock and try and find that extra next season so that we can win another five games compared to this season and win the title.

At the end of the day the best team won on the day, and well done to Torquay and good luck to them in the final.

The crowd won them that penno. Who knows what would have happened, but the bottom line is , we were just a bit short. Our defending was very questionable at times.

Ardley's squad building has been disastrous for 2.5 seasons and he is entirely responsible.

Over the course of the whole season, we were not good enough. 5th probably flattered us. A lot of lucky wins or draws due to wonder goals. Performances were generally poor until Burchnall came in and not convinced he has enough about him to win the league.

God knows how many seasons it will take us to get out now.
