You are quite entitled to your views but be careful about calling people stupid. Tens of thousands of ordinary folk deserting Labour for the Tories can't all be wrong and stupid. They may be in your opinion - but you are massively outnumbered by these people whose opinion differs from your own and using the old saying, all of them can't be wrong.

If you insult people and dismiss their views, you're highly unlikely to get them to listen to your side of the argument, let alone win them over. It would be stupid to imagine you could.

It was somebody who jumped in (thinking they were on easy money) after Elite and Fatboy had made their bets and it could have been magpiemania. If it was then possibly he will advise. By the way please learn to use the word 'herd' in the subjective context, not 'heard' as in the context of having been told something.

Pathetic. This has nothing at all to do with what Starmer might have done, it's about the disgraceful handling of the pandemic by this government costing the needless loss of many lives. As Boris's former best mate just said, "If No 10 is prepared to lie so deeply and widely about such v ital issues of life and death last year, it cannot be trusted now either on Covid or any other crucial issue".

Regarding the bet, it seems enough of the public are quite happy to be lied to. It doesn't seem to bother many that the bloke in charge is a proven liar and cheat. He could probably bugger the Queen on the steps of Buckingham Palace and his ratings would remain stable. If you win (as looks likely), I will of course pay £20 to a charity of your choice as agreed.
